Romancing the Stone
Paparazzi caught Sharon Stone making out with a mystery man in Malibu. Cameras caught the two snuggling on a beach and holding hands. The very public display of affection continued as the two went shopping. Sharon recently told in an interview that her basic dating instinct is to wait for the right guy - especially with her three kids - May 10th, 2007. Huge thanks goes to Anka, who submitted those pictures. This is random update just to let you know that risk-addiction.com isn't dead yet. I am lately extremely busy and have no time for regular updates, but I'll try to catch up with everything as soon as possible. |

Stone's date with Bill Clinton
“Extra” was with Sharon Stone, Charles Grodin and that other commander in chief, Martin Sheen, as all the stars geared up for Friday’s Big Apple RFK Memorial Benefit Gala honoring Bill Clinton. “I don’t think we had a better president,” Sheen admitted. We also asked Sharon what she thinks about Hilary for president in 2008. “I don’t think that it’s about whether you’re male or female,” she said. Lorraine Brocco gave us her take on Bill Clinton’s charisma. “He’s cute!” Brocco giggled. Meanwhile, it was a city of brotherly love as Mr. Clinton teamed up with rocker Jon Bon Jovi Thursday to rebuild a Philly neighborhood. “Extra” was with the two as Bon Jovi sang Clinton’s praises. “I feel really honored to have Mr. Clinton as a friend of mine,” he confessed. “The biggest rock and roll star in the world is right over my right shoulder.” But the former president acknowledged the respect was mutual. “I’ve gotten tired of hearing my wife and daughter saying he’s the most handsome man on the planet,” Clinton joked. The duo shared the spotlight Thursday night as Former Presidents Clinton and Bush were honored for raising millions for victims of the tsunami and Hurricane Katrina. “I love George Bush,” Clinton said. “I do.” But Clinton will be feeling the love later this month when the Rolling Stones perform at his belated 60th birthday bash, with all proceeds going to charity. |

Sharon shopping at fabric store
Sharon Stone shopping at Fabrics for the Home store in Beverly Hills. Stylish actress showed up without her war paint on and she still looked great. The Basic Instinct star was snapped leaving home to shop for rugs in Los Angeles, and plainly didn't see the point of sprucing up to buy knick-knacks. Demi Moore on the other hand is not such a good advert for au naturel. Thousands of pounds of plastic surgery clearly didn't help the Charlie's Angels babe when she stepped out in L.A. without her slap yesterday - October 3rd, 2006. |

Leto uses his basic instinct to woo Stone
Rocker and actor Jared Leto has set his famous blue eyes on another Hollywood sex symbol. The Lord of War actor has been linked to a string of Tinsel Town's finest, including Cameron Diaz, Scarlett Johansson, Lindsay Lohan and Ashley Olsen, but new reports say the 34-year-old star is currently pining over Hollywood veteran Sharon Stone. Leto and the 48-year-old Basic Instinct star were reportedly seen enjoying drinks at LA nightclub Area. According to Life and Style Weekly, Leto noticed Stone from across the room and quickly made a bee-line for her. "Sharon was in full femme-fatale mode, she looked positively radiant and Jared definitely noticed," an onlooker told the magazine. "He sauntered over to her and started chatting her up. She seemed flattered by the attention, and the two were laughing and flirting within seconds." The two stars then settled at a table together, where they were joined by the club's owner and Leto's brother. But according to fellow club-goers, they did not pay any attention to their guests. "It kind of looked like they were on a date. The sparks were flying," one said. Stone, who recently adopted her third son, is divorced from husband Phil Bronstein. |

Sharon flirts with Jared Leto
Sharon Stone has been spotted canoodling with Jared Leto. The 48-year-old actress and Leto, 34, were seen flirting at the opening of new Los Angeles club Area last Thursday. Stone was wearing a very revealing black satin mini dress and fishnet tights, with diamonds in her hair and round her neck and it seems Leto was impressed by what he saw. An onlooker told Life and Style Weekly magazine: "Sharon was in full femme-fatale mode, she looked positively radiant and Jared definitely noticed. He sauntered over to her and started chatting her up. She seemed flattered by the attention, and the two were laughing and flirting within seconds. She seemed really attracted to Jared." The pair then shared a table with the club's owner Brent Bolthouse and Leto's brother, Shannon, but the two stars are said to only have had eyes for one another. The source added: "It kind of looked like they were on a date. The sparks were flying." The 'Fight Club' actor - who has previously been romantically linked to Scarlett Johansson and Lindsay Lohan, both of who are more than ten years his junior - is currently filming 'Chapter 27' about the assassination of John Lennon. |

Stone gets cheeky for charity
Sharon Stone, infamous for that bare naked crotch-flashing shot in the original "Basic Instinct," showed a different side of herself at the recent Macy's Passport HIVAIDS fundraiser. Her backside. "Everytime she moved, you could see all the way to the promised land," one partygoer complained. Now why would any woman - of any age - get up on a stage in a crack of dawn-revealing frock like this? Especially an actress who is so heartbreakingly good in Weinstein Co's latest awards-contender, "Bobby," and might actually get a Best Actress nomination this season? A desperate plea for attention? Lack of a full-length mirror in her house? Everything else was at the cleaners? Your guess is as good - or bad - as mine. At one point during the live auction, audacious auctioneer Stone even threatened to take the darn thing off. "We take checks, cash, Amex and maybe the clothes off your back," she warned. "I'm wearing a vintage Gucci and it may be off my back by the end of the evening." "Oh, dear God, please no," whispered one of the 2,000 guests who attended the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica for the annual HIV/AIDS fundraiser. |

Sharon Stone loses her basic instinct for fashion
While Sharon Stone's style instincts have often got her a thumbs up by the fashion police, her latest dress- selection turned heads, but for all the wrong reasons. During her recent public appearance, the seductive actress, who has always been a red carpet head turner, failed to charm the audience with her dressing-sense, that saw her clad in a bizarre black leather frock (as you can clearly see, her dress wasn't leather, it was sateen - webmaster) and fishnet stockings. And as the 48 year old walked onto the stage at charity auction, Macy's Passport Gala, in Santa Monica, with her back to the crowd, she stumped everyone with her weird choice of gown, reports the Daily Mail. While the dress, from the front, looked fairly decent, from the behind - with two huge splits, stretching from her knees to her buttocks, it revealed more than a hint of bare bottom. Three inch shiny stilettoes and scoop necked netting around her shoulders, completed the fishwife look. |

Stone on mission to find a father figure
Sharon Stone recently spoke to reporters about a new focus in her life. Stone is keen to find the right man she invites to share her life - because she wants to find the perfect father for her three adopted boys. Stone is putting her concerns for her three boys before any other. "My children need to have someone they can look up to, someone they can look at and say, 'Gee, I'd like to be just like him. "I don't want to bring some schmuck around them, so, when I meet people, I have to think about whether they will be good examples to my sons." Contactmusic quoted her as saying. Stone adopted her first son Roan Joseph Bronstein, while still married to editor of San Francisco Chronicle newspaper Phil Bronstein. After the couple divorced, Stone adopted her second son that she named Laird Vonne Stone. This year, the Basic Instinct siren became a mum for the third time with a baby boy named Quinn. |

Sharon Stone is no bang of the century
While to some she may be a sex siren, who left fans mesmerized by her famous legcrossing scene in Basic Instict, screenwriter of the 1992 hit, Joe Eszterhas says that she was no where close to being the "bang of the century." When grilled by Michael Musto, a Manhattan-based writer who began his career at The Village Voice, after the screening of his upcoming film "Showgirls", Eszterhas revealed details about his own casting-couch practices. In his interview when Musto asked Eszterhas about his tryst with Sharon Stone, who starred in his film "Basic Instinct," the Hollywood screenwriter said, "It was part of my Vegas show girls research," reports the New York Daily News. When Musto interrogated the writer about Stone's sex prowess, Joe replied: "There's a line in 'Basic Instinct' about it being the bang of the century. It wasn't the bang of the century." |

Milarepa premiere in Los Angeles
Sharon Stone arrives at the benefit premiere for Tibetan lama and filmmaker Neten Chokling's latest film Milarepa held at Universal City's AMC Universal City 18 Cineplex - September 13th, 2006. The Dalai Lama may not have a free country yet, but he is guaranteed a mass audience everywhere he goes even in the celebrity dominated Los Angeles. Hollywood siren and Oscar nominee, Sharon Stone chose not to go to the Venice Film Festival to promote her latest film Bobby instead met the Buddhist spiritual leader. "We are world citizens now. We are all interconnected in many ways we have computers, we have television, we have film and we are now 'us' and 'them." We are just 'we' and as long as we behave as we are just 'us' and them' we are going to be unhappy," said Sharon Stone, actress. After the speech, Stone hosted a screening for the film Milarepa about 11th century Tibet at a nearby cineplex. The film is a directorial debut by Buddhist monk lama Neten Chokling. "That is why I made the film because I want to reach as many as I can in the audience and I want to tell them about nonviolence and peace and those things," said Neten Chokling, Director. The 71-year-old Tibetan leader's core message hasn't changed since he was installed as the 14th Dalai Lama in 1940 and exiled to Dharamsala in India 19 years later. |

Gunman must have lacked love
Actress Sharon Stone has never hesitated to offer her opinions on the weighty matters of the world, and Montreal's latest shooting rampage was no exception. Stone said Thursday that a lack of love in the life of 25-year-old gunman Kimveer Gill - and not his fondness for violent films and video games - likely prompted him to start firing indiscriminately at a Montreal college on Wednesday in an attack that claimed his life and that of a young woman. "I would venture to guess that the person who did the shooting in Montreal is reacting much more to the fact that they're not loved, and that they're having (an) incredible chasm and hollow desperate feeling of a lack of love,'' the loquacious Stone said as she promoted her new film, "Bobby,'' at the Toronto International Film Festival. As her co-stars in the film about Robert F. Kennedy looked on - Demi Moore, Christian Slater and William H. Macy among them - Stone continued. "And the violence in them comes from that incredible outcry of desperation more than the fact that they saw a violent film,'' said Stone, wearing a black dress with gold stripes. "The violence that they feel may be reflecting back to them on film, but the violence is innately coming from a desperate feeling of a lack of love.'' That's why it's important, Stone says, for parents to give their children as much love as possible during their formative years. "It's very important that we nurture our children and teach them compassionate behaviour and mindful and thoughtful behaviour,'' she said. "It's important as a society that we remain compassionate, mindful and thoughtful to one another.'' The problem, Stone says, is that people no longer look out for their fellow man. "I don't think it's so much whether we look at art or we look at films or we look at a building and our reactivity to it. I think it's about that we're not having reactivity to the people sitting next to us ... it is very, very, very important that we have not lost the art of noticing the person next to us, of noticing and being present with the people who are near us.'' Her comments came shortly after another long-winded answer to a question from a Mexican journalist about how she stayed so beautiful and so happy. In summation? Stone credited the teachings of the Dalai Lama for helping her find joy not in moments of pleasure, but in day-to-day living. |

Emilio Estevez on Bobby
Emilio Estevez said he wanted to bring ordinary people into the spotlight while making the movie Bobby, about Robert Kennedy's assassination. Bobby, starring Anthony Hopkins, Christian Slater, Demi Moore, Sharon Stone and Lindsay Lohan, is one of 21 movies at the 63rd Venice Film Festival vying for this year's Golden Lion, which will be awarded Saturday. "What I wanted to discover were common people, those who found themselves at the epicenter of one of the most important events of the 20th century," Estevez told a news conference Tuesday. Meanwhile, his spokeswoman, Lisa Kasteler, announced that the 44-year-old actor/director is engaged to Sonja Magdevski, a print reporter who also teaches creative writing. No wedding date has been set, Kasteler said. Estevez was previously married to American Idol judge Paula Abdul. They divorced in 1994. He is the son of Martin Sheen, who starred in NBC's The West Wing, and brother of Charlie Sheen, star of the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men. Bobby revisits the night Kennedy was gunned down at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles in 1968, telling the stories of those who were at the hotel that evening. "I thought to choose characters that would be emblems, symbols, normal people," Estevez said. Bobby is slated to open in the United States on Nov. 17. "It's been a wonderful experience and I hope that everybody can see the work that we put in the movie," Lohan said. |

Sharon get glam on
Suri Cruise isn't the only famous mug set to grace the glossies this fall. Just days before New York's Fashion Week kicks into gear, a slew of celebs are getting into a designer state of mind. Sharon Stone, Lisa Marie Presley, Blondie frontwoman Debbie Harry, Eve and burlesque star Dita Von Teese have all agreed to pout and pose their way through fall ad campaigns, it was announced Wednesday. The Basic Instinct femme fatale has teamed with designer duo Badgley Mischka for a print campaign launching this October in the hallowed pages of Vogue, Elle and InStyle. "We have dressed Sharon many times and working with her on this campaign and combining our visions was an incredible experience," designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka said in a statement. "Our collection represents Hollywood glamour with a modern twist and Sharon epitomizes this look." The 48-year-old actress replaces Badgley Mischka's previous choice of celebrity mannequins, the considerably younger-skewing twin set of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The Full House alums appeared together in a print campaign for the design house's collection earlier this year. Stone has already shot the campaign, hitting newsstands next month, having posed for veteran fashion photographer Gilles Bensimmon. It has been a busy few months for the haute mama: Stone recently confirmed that she adopted a third child, son Quinn, earlier this summer. But the Muse thesp isn't the only one channeling her inner supermodel. |

Sharon storms back as fashion cover girl
She may be a couple of years short of her fiftieth birthday, but Sharon Stone’s sense of ‘Hollywood glamour with a modern twist’ will see her gracing the covers of not only Vogue, but also Elle and InStyle magazines. The ‘Basic Instinct’ star has teamed with designer duo Badgley Mischka for a print campaign launching this October in the three mags. Designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka said in a statement that Stone was perfect for their new collection as she epitomized Hollywood’s sense of glamour and a unique modern twist. "We have dressed Sharon many times and working with her on this campaign and combining our visions was an incredible experience. Our collection represents Hollywood glamour with a modern twist and Sharon epitomizes this look," E!Online quoted them, as saying. |

Everett Dishes On Stone
Actor Rupert Everett is dishing the dirt on Sharon Stone and Julia Roberts in his new autobiography. Excerpts of the book, "Red Carpets And Other Banana Skins," appear in London's Daily Mail. In the book, Everett admitted to being scared of Stone, calling her "utterly unhinged" and stark raving mad. He recalled a bizarre conversation the two had about letting characters inhabit them. As for Roberts, Everett said she smelled vaguely of sweat, which he thought was very sexy. |

Eszterhas criticises Stone
Sharon Stone may have the killer instinct - but film crew members could have murdered her, a new book claims. Her antics on the film set so irritated them that they urinated in a bathtub before she got in it to film a scene. Screenwriter Joe Eszterhas, who penned films including Basic Instinct, Flashdance and Showgirls, dishes the dirt on top stars in his new book, The Devil's Guide to Hollywood: The Screenwriter as God. Val Kilmer, Michael Douglas and Robert De Niro are all targeted, according to the New York Daily News. Eszterhas apparently claims Stone's behaviour "so annoyed the crew on one of her movies that they relieved themselves into a bathtub before Sharon got into it for her scene". Of De Niro, Esztehas reportedly writes: "For many years, Robert De Niro, always brilliant onscreen, couldn't even say two words on his own. He'd sit there, not speaking - woefully, miserably, pathetically lost without the words of a script." Of Kilmer: "Val Kilmer is an imbecile. Asked by the Academy to nominate the three best film moments of the century, Kilmer nominated three of his movies. One of them was 'Batman Forever.'" And of Douglas: "Michael Douglas, in my experience, is not brilliant and may very well, in some cases, be dumb. This is the guy who wanted to change the ending of 'Basic Instinct' because it wasn't 'redemptive.' Douglas didn't like that he was the star of the movie and that [Sharon Stone] 'one-ups me at every turn.'" Warren Beatty also comes in for some flak. "The joke in Hollywood is that Warren Beatty, the 'great auteur,' can turn a 'go' movie into a development deal. He'll get involved, work with six writers rewriting your script, then pull out of the project." |

Sharon expands her family
The beautiful Sharon Stone is putting her time and energy where her heart is, raising money for an important children's charity. "That is why we're all here. We care about our children, we care about our families, and we care about other people," Sharon told the crowed at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Celebrity Golf Classic on Monday. It was there that the stunning 47-year-old star broke baby news to "Extra," confirming she has adopted a third child. Now, her other two kids, Roan, 6, and Laird, 16 months, have a baby brother named Quinn. Sharon's new addition has something else in common with his big brothers. "All of my children have been adopted on the day of their birth," she revealed. Like her passion for children, Sharon has never tried to hide her deep love for children's charities. "For the last 11 years I've been working with the American Foundation for AIDS Research," Stone said. "We now know that over 1,800 children are born everyday HIV positive. And 50 percent of those won't live to be two years old." That startling fact helped bring out a who's who of Hollywood on Monday afternoon, including Ray Romano, James Caan, Sylvester Stallone and Billy Crystal, who couldn't wait to see Sharon go from golfer to event auctioneer. "I may bid on her," Crystal joked. It's true: that night Sharon traded in her golf clubs for a microphone, hosting an auction that raised nearly $600,000. The superstar even sold the dress of her back for $5,000. "I'll take if off, and you can wear it home," she told the generous bidder. "Take it with you tonight." |

Sharon is gone camera shy
Our mystery blonde actually seems to be hiding from the paparazzi. And what better way to throw them off the scent than to cover up with some greenery? Believe it or not, there was a flaw in Sharon Stone's plan. And that was the fact she didn't stay in the bushes long enough for the snappers to get bored and go home. Perhaps she succumbed to hayfever sneezes or met a bee in there... Either way, we don't think the CIA will be hiring her as a spy just yet. |

Impressive all star cast in Estevez directed drama.
Bobby, written and directed by Emilio Estevez, revisits the night Robert F. Kennedy was gunned down at the Ambassador Hotel in 1968. With an impressive ensemble cast playing fictional characters from a cross-section of America, the film follows 22 individuals who are all at the hotel for different reasons, but share the common thread of anticipating Bobby Kennedy's arrival at the primary election night party, which would change their lives forever. The events of this historic night are set against a backdrop of cultural issues that gripped the country at the time, including racism, sexual inequality and class differences. Bobby's all-star cast includes Harry Belafonte, Nick Cannon, Emilio Estevez, Laurence Fishburne, Heather Graham, Anthony Hopkins, Helen Hunt, Joshua Jackson, Ashton Kutcher, Shia LaBeouf, Lindsay Lohan, William H. Macy, Demi Moore, Freddy Rodriguez, Martin Sheen, Christian Slater, Sharon Stone and Elijah Wood. The Weinstein Company and MGM release arrives in theaters in New York and L.A. on November 17 and expands on November 23. |

Sharon Stone overpaid
Are Nicole Kidman, Lindsay Lohan, Mel Gibson and Tom Cruise nothing but overpaid actors. An article in the NY Times seems to suggest as much. Us Weekly summarizes very well in their lede: New research shows what the rest of us already knew – actors like Mel Gibson, Nicole Kidman, and Lindsay Lohan make too much money. According to The New York Times, Sumner Redstone was correct in cutting Tom Cruise loose from Paramount Pictures last week, not because of his aberrant behavior, but because his star power doesn’t deliver the box office goods. The Times reports that if you ask economists and other academics that study the movie industry, Mr. Redstone’s decision was, in financial terms, spot on. The best reason to get rid of Mr. Cruise or, for that matter, Mel Gibson, or Lindsay Lohan, is not their occasional aberrant behavior. They, like most marquee names in Hollywood, are simply not worth the expense. Even studio chiefs will acknowledge that a star does not guarantee success. "Bewitched" starring Nicole Kidman, cost an estimated $85 million and had taken in only about $62 million at the American box office by late 2005. "There is no statistical correlation between stars and [a film’s] success," said S. Abraham Ravid, a professor of economics and finance at Rutgers University, who, in a study of almost 200 films released between 1991 and 1993, found that after eliminating other factors influencing the success of a film, a star had no impact on its rate of return. So - who's worth the cash? Looking across a sample of more than 2,000 movies exhibited between 1985 and 1996, they found that only seven actors and actresses - Tom Hanks, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sandra Bullock, Jodie Foster, Jim Carrey, Barbra Streisand and Robin Williams - had a positive impact on the box office. Only two directors, Steven Spielberg and Oliver Stone, pushed up a movie’s revenue. The worst? Hollywood Buzzkill Award goes to Winona Ryder, Sharon Stone and Val Kilmer – they were associated with smaller box-office revenue. |

The 63rd Venice Film Festival has started
The 63rd Venice Film Festival has started with the world premiere of The Black Dahlia, starring Scarlett Johansson. The movie is among 21 films up for the Golden Lion award, which was won last year by Brokeback Mountain. Together with The Queen, which dramatises the Royal Family's response to the death of Diana, Princess of Wales in 1997, The Black Dahlia is one of several films in this year's competition line-up based on true events. Others include Sharon Stone in Bobby, which revisits the assassination of US Senator Robert F Kennedy in 1968, and Hollywoodland, a drama based on the mysterious death of Superman actor George Reeves, played by Ben Affleck. Other British actors with films at the festival include Clive Owen and Sir Michael Caine, stars of the futuristic drama Children of Men. Director David Lynch, who will be screening his latest work Inland Empire during the festival, will receive a lifetime achievement award. |

Stallone banned from screen sex because of Sharon
Sylvester Stallones's wife Jennifer Flavin banned him from movie sex after his intimate one-on-one with Sharon Stone in 1994 film The Specialist. Flavin, 38 - the mother of the Rambo star's three young daughters - doesn't believe saucy scenes can be done without emotion, so asked her devoted husband to stop. And the actor insists he doesn't mind, because he hated them anyway. He says, "Jennifer does not believe you can just be acting and thinks there must be some kind of romantic attachment. I hated doing it and Jennifer was upset so I knew that would be the last time for me." |

Sharon Stone is to snub Venice Film Festival
Sharon Stone is to snub the Venice Film Festival to meet with the Dalai Lama. The 'Basic Instinct' actress has reportedly pulled out of the prestigious event this weekend, where she was supposed to be promoting her latest film 'Bobby'. Stone's representatives have so far been vague about the reason behind the star's absence and only revealed she will be meeting the Buddhist spiritual leader in Los Angeles. Her representative, Cindi Berger, said the 'Casino' star "never committed" to the festival and is "doing something with the Dalai Lama in Los Angeles" instead. However, rumors are rife the Stone decided to pull out of the festival because organizers refused to accommodate her diva-like demands. |

Basic Instinct parody in Beyonce's video
Beyonce Knowles could teach Sharon Stone a thing or two... she has clearly been paying special attention to the leg-crossing scene from Basic Instinct - judging by her video for Ring The Alarm. It is one of the hot tracks from her fab new album, B'Day, which is due out on September 4. Talking of her saucy video at the Volstead Club in London's Soho on Wednesday, Bey told: "I'd been in my Dreamgirls film character for so long... She's been stuck in my body so long and I needed to release it - that's why I'm screaming." Just as long as you kept your knickers on, love... |

Starry moments
Stars can make or break a photographer. James Aylott can testify to that. He owes a debt to Sharon Stone, he says. "I missed a great picture of her sitting in a swimming pool at a charity event in Beverly Hills. All the other photographers had the picture and I knew I’d be fired if I came back without a photo. "The PR people refused to let her do it again so I pushed them aside and told her the situation. She jumped back in the pool. "The other photographers all came back for a better shot so to block them I jumped in the pool waist high in water. I got the sexiest shots of her looking straight into the camera. "Another snapper took a shot of me in the pool which made its way into the National Enquirer. After that I was head-hunted so I've always been very grateful to Sharon Stone." For that Aylott says he will never do a "tabloid job" on Stone. |

Toronto International Film Festival
New films from Christopher Guest, Emilio Estevez and Pedro Almodovar will receive red-carpet treatment from the Toronto International Film Festival, fest organizers said on Thursday. The 31st edition of the festival has scheduled gala world premieres for Guest's latest mockumentary, "For Your Consideration," and for "Bonneville," the directorial debut of Christopher N. Rowley, which stars Jessica Lange, Joan Allen and Kathy Bates. In addition, North American bows are set for Estevez's "Bobby" and Almodovar's "Volver," the Penelope Cruz starrer that earned two prizes in Cannes. "For Your Consideration," a Warner Independent Pictures release featuring Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Harry Shearer, Fred Willard, Bob Balaban and Parker Posey, follows the making of an indie melodrama, "Home for Purim," that changes the lives of its cast. The film will screen at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto ahead of a November 17 theatrical release. Rowley's "Bonneville" features Lange as a grieving widow who hijacks her two best friends (Bates and Allen) and takes to the road in a vintage 1966 Bonneville convertible. The Weinstein Co.'s "Bobby" - written, directed by and starring Estevez - is set against the backdrop of Robert F. Kennedy's assassination, and features an ensemble cast of Laurence Fishburne, Heather Graham, Anthony Hopkins, Helen Hunt, Lindsay Lohan, William H. Macy and Sharon Stone. |

Michael Douglas refuses nude roles
Michael Douglas has said he will never strip-off for a film again. The 61-year-old famously showed his butt in sexy thriller Basic Instinct alongside Sharon Stone. Douglas is quoted by Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: "I've dropped my pants for the last time. I was never going to do the sequel anyway." The former sex addict has bared his cheeks in almost ten films including Disclosure and Fatal Attraction. Douglas has performed sex scenes in half of his 31 films and during his heyday in the 90s the actor became infamous for refusing a body double. |

Sharon Stone is trying to unload the Beverly Hills estate she bought in April 2006 for slightly less than $11 million, it was reported today. The actress wants $12.5 million for the gated five-bedroom home on about five acres, the Los Angeles Times reported. Listing agents told The Times that the 'Basic Instinct'' star, who already owns a home in the area, liked the 9,000-square-foot spread, complete with a guest house, tennis court and meditation garden, at first sight, but later decided not to move in. Celebrities among us, if in name only
Strangers call her house to say they're fans. Salesclerks have refused her credit card, thinking it was a fake. On the plus side, food gets delivered quickly. It's because of two little words: her first and last name. Jennifer Lopez is a 26-year-old graduate student at Northwestern University. She's Puerto Rican, Polish and Swedish with long, wavy brown hair. And, does she share the superstar's most famous, um, asset? "I definitely have a butt, but it's not as pronounced," she says. Jennifer Lopez. Matthew Broderick. Sharon Stone. Christina Aguilera. They're A-list celebrities adored by millions. They're also residents of Chicago. Flip through a White Pages and see for yourself. Matthew and Sara (no, not Sarah Jessica) Broderick reside toward the front of the phone book. Broderick has endured the nasally whine of "Bueller . . . Bueller ..." since "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" was released two decades ago. From his high school days growing up on a farm in Waukee, Iowa, with six sisters and three brothers to his present day life as a father and business owner, he has been teased almost daily. But Broderick still loves the movie and isn't particularly bothered by the jokes. After all, people don't really think he's that Matthew Broderick. Well, once they did. Sort of. It was when the actor was in town starring in the pre-Broadway run of "The Producers." Broderick showed up at Twin Anchors to pick up his takeout order. The folks at the restaurant had expected someone else. "Ah! The disappointment," he says. Attorney Sharon Stone says she had her name all to herself until law school. That's when the femme fatale starred in "Total Recall" and posed nude for Playboy. Soon after that, legs were uncrossed in "Basic Instinct" and blond-bombshell history was made. But Sharon Stone, 40, doesn't mind sharing her name with the actress. People chuckle about the coincidence, and it sometimes helps break the ice. Besides, Stone doesn't actually get confused with her name twin in real life. "I'm African-American. I'm overweight. I'm a mother of three. I don't look a thing like Sharon Stone," she says, laughing. Perhaps because it's a more unusual name, Christina Aguilera's life has been disrupted more than Stone's. The petite 34-year-old who works at Calumet Bakery used to get double takes and raised eyebrows from almost everyone she met. Really? Christina Aguilera? "It happened all the time. All the time," she says. Like the Grammy Award-winning singer, the South Side mother was married last year. It was a joyous occasion - and not just because she was in love. She took her husband's name and became Christina Hernandez: "I was so happy to finally be done with the whole thing." |

Lindsay Lohan looks like Sharon Stone?
Lindsay Lohan is stunned after being compared to Hollywood beauties Marilyn Monroe and Sharon Stone. The actress reveals Stone herself and a close friend of Monroe have approached to remark on the likenesses - and she's staggered to be compared to such Tinseltown aristocracy. She says, 'Marilyn's best friend came over at the event (at which she wore a Monroe-inspired dress) and said she'd been taken aback because she thought I looked so much like Marilyn. It was incredible. Recently Sharon Stone told me, 'There's a picture of you in a white dress and you look just like me.' I was so flattered.' |

Harvard singing group member kissed by Stone

Jason Yeo is one lucky man. He not only sang for actress Sharon Stone and gave her roses, he was also kissed on both cheeks by the sexy Basic Instinct star. Mr Yeo, 24, a Harvard University undergraduate, is part of the jazz a cappella group, Harvard Din & Tonics. The group welcomed Ms Stone when she went to Harvard to receive a humanitarian award last April. Said Mr Yeo: 'I was so excited. She really liked us - she was jumping up and down in her heels.' |

Sharon Stone to adopt again
The 'Basic Instinct' actress already has three adopted sons - Roan, six, 14-month-old Laird and baby Quinn, who she welcomed into her family last month - but wants to extend her family even further. A source told New Weekly magazine: "Sharon loves being a mother and being able to give these children the love they deserve. She may not even stop at four." It seems Stone, 48, plans to follow in Angelina Jolie's footsteps and give a home to an underprivileged child from overseas. The source added: "She doesn't want to sound like Angelina but she likes the idea of adopting kids from all different nationalities." Stone is just one of a host of Hollywood stars to adopt children. Nicole Kidman and her ex-husband Tom Cruise, Meg Ryan, former 'Ally McBeal' actress Calista Flockhart and 80s pop star Lionel Richie have all given homes to abandoned or orphaned children. |

Has Sharon rekindled romance with old beau?
Actress Sharon Stone may have found love once again, this time in the arms of an old flame. The 'Basic Instinct' star is said to have rekindled her romance with comedian Garry Shandling whom she briefly dated in the early 1990s after appearing on his cult comedy show The Larry Sanders Show. The two remained friends after their split, and now that Stone is free of ex hubby Phil Bronstein, Shandling was wooing the actress with dinner dates and hand holdings. A source revealed that the actress thinks that her new beau is the "funniest man on the planet". "Sharon thinks Garry is the funniest man on the planet - and he thinks she's the most beautiful woman. They're keeping the relationship low-key, but Sharon and Garry are loving one another like never before," Femalefirst quoted the source, as saying. |
